    School holidays are upon us again and if you are struggling to entertain everyone here are my suggestions. I will be out and about with the family enjoying the best Brisbane has on offer:⁣

    𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐞 & 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 - based on the Broadway version, this musical showstopper is on at Lyric Theatre, QPAC until 3 October. The wonder of Wonka awaits!⁣

    𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞 - if you haven’t stood under the sea of fireworks with our gorgeous city as the backdrop then this is a must do. Head to South Bank, Kangaroo Point Cliffs or Howard Smith Wharves to watch the spectacular fireworks. Starts 7pm. Get there early to avoid the crowds.⁣

    𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝗪𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝗪𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 - on at Queensland Museum. A fun day out for big and little LEGO fans. Heaps of awesome masterpieces from the Great Wall of China and Taj Mahal, to the Empire State Building - this world-class exhibition is an interactive trip through history.⁣

    𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐞𝐲𝐬…….. my little business is thriving and it’s time to have a HQ. This small space is tucked away in Bardon and is bright and cheery, just perfect. It has already hosted meetings with clients and friends swing by to say 👋.⁣

    When I picked up the keys it was school holidays and my children were with me. My sons 💙💙 insisted on a photo to mark the occasion so I went along with it. The thing I nearly missed was the little girl in the corner- see that is my daughter 💖 beaming with pride of this moment for her Mum. Right there that is success to me, the moment isn’t even about the keys. ⁣

    It’s no secret that I love Brisbane and that I genuinely believe it is one of the greatest places that a family could live. One of the best things about living in Brisbane is the endless sunny days…even in Winter! 🌞🌞⁣

    🌿 South Bank Parklands – a magical river parkland. 🧚🧚 We’ll be checking out the new Riverside Green, a state-of -the-art colourful playground 🌈 with a skywalk, towers, rope bridges and climbing webs high above the ground. Brisbane’s coolest new playground!⁣

    🌿 Mt Cootha Botanic Gardens – sub-tropical wonderland adjacent to a forest. My kids love the Kuta Kids Playground here as well as the Japanese Gardens, the bamboo grove and the water-lily lagoon. 🧘‍♀️ The Planetarium 🪐 here is high on our list of must-do list these school holidays.⁣

    🌿 New Farm Park – one of Brisbane’s oldest and most popular parklands. We love going for a ride on the CityCat. The farmers 🧑‍🌾 🍋🥦🌽🍓 market on Saturdays is a great way to start the weekend we love to grab a box of fresh cinnamon donuts 🍩 and play on the grass.⁣

    🌿 Roma Street Parklands – my kids love running around the rolling lawns of this amazing parkland, catching the cute train 🚂 as well as hitting the playgrounds, walking trails and wildlife-filled ponds. 🦆 🛼🚲🛴⁣

    When I started out I said I would never stand in front of a sold sign……. Didn’t even think of ever designing my own huge sign and standing in front of it but today I did.⁣

    This buy is one I am super proud of and this story may never happen again. ⁣

    My clients when I first met them mentioned this exact address as what they were looking for. I laughed and said everyone knows that block but it hasn’t been for sale in over 20 years it’s just sat vacant. You can imagine the absolute surprise when it came up as an off market option two weeks later. We swooped in, secured it and I decided this block needed a huge sign to celebrate.     Here in Brisbane there is no doubt house prices are impacted by which school catchment zone they sit in. ⁣

    Sometimes the closest school or one mentioned near by isn’t always the catchment zone so it is important to double check using the Queensland government website.⁣
